Parent and Student Reviews
- I moved my 14-year-old into Minerva’s Virtual Academy. It has been the best decision. It is not only the kids that are challenged to think creatively but the teachers too, with wellness and socialisation playing a big part in the curriculum. My son has learned to manage his own timetable and take responsibility for his own education. With the support of a mentor he balances his studies alongside his passions. No more wasted commuting time, no more classroom distractions; he is focussed and independent, even learning to plan and cook his own lunches. The old-fashioned school system of herding kids with bells, and authoritarians wearing lanyards, into single siloed desked classrooms where they copy lines from a text book has no relevance in today’s world.Read moreWritten July 21, 2023

- Sophia may be learning in her home, in her time, but is part of King’s InterHigh’s bigger community. She has a small class of roughly eight pupils, which makes it a far more individual way that she can be taught. When she was in mainstream school, she didn’t attain what she needed to do because she is a very shy child.Read moreWritten March 2, 2023
- Before Istarted at Nisai I had quite a few bad experiences with teachers. A lot of it was due to my absences or not turning in homework, and often ended up with being shouted at or told off in front of the class or privately told I should drop down onto a simpler course because I wasn’t capable of doing the subject at a higher level. While my anxiety and nerves due to these experiences still hasn’t gone away completely, the teachers at Nisai, and especially your class, have slowly lessened that fear instilled by my previous teachers. It’s sort of surreal to me that I haven’t been told off or shouted at or told I wasn’t trying hard enough or smart enough even once. But instead you’ve been really encouraging and understanding and it’s really really helped me get over some of those fears—which is why I managed to start going to live lessons—and also built my confidence back up a lot.Read moreWritten September 19, 2024

- We are delighted with Elea High Online School because they have offered us personal advice and attention to detail to the needs of our daughter. We joined the school because there is not any Bristish school nearby. She has learned so much Science and Spanish this school year. The school has provided remarkable support and dedication to her well being. Their school coaching really makes her feel welcomed and part of the community. Online schooling has allowed her to choose and take IGCSEs at her own pace. This gives her more time to do her hobbies with friends and spend quality time with us. We are thankful with Elea High and we are joining again next year!Read moreWritten May 30, 2024
- Elea High online school has changed my perspective on studies such as maths which for me is considered to be a tough subject but since I joined the school I have kept improving and understanding the subject better. I started to socialize more and share my working outs with the whole class and together finding the mistakes and correcting them. The teachers are so nice and committed to making me understand the subject that they are teaching. The students are very friendly and always there if you need help or just chat about anything. The school has a variety of students from different nationalities which we get to see on the Friday assemblies and talk to, which I love the most in the school. Not to forget the weekly quiz in the assembly which is so fun to participate in.Thank you Elea High students, teachers, and the Principal; Respected Mr David Lewis.Read moreWritten May 30, 2024
