Overview
Since its founding in 1967, La Miranda has offered high-quality, global education in a multilingual environment for students from 9 months to 18 years of age.
At La Miranda, the Global Quality School, we seek to educate competent children and young people in all areas so that they can make the right decisions at critical moments in their lives.
As a result of their comprehensive training, the students of Infant, Primary, Secondary and Baccalaureate complete their training as multilingual young people with self-confidence, empathy for others and the ability to listen and resolve conflicts. The goal is that, as a result of their education, they get a balanced start in life and continue to thrive as fulfilled adults.

Academics
We are committed to offering a comprehensive and innovative education for children and young people from 9 months to 18 years of age. At La Miranda we carry out distinguished pedagogical work that is in constant renewal, oriented towards a global, coherent and personalized education. Our goal is to strengthen the abilities of each student to promote happiness and success inside and outside the classroom.
We consider young children to be true linguistic geniuses. For this reason, we introduce 7 languages in infant and primary education: English, Spanish and Catalan as the main languages; French and Mandarin Chinese as second languages and linguistic integration of Russian and German through short sessions in which students become familiar with the different sounds of each language.
Our dynamic, personalized and distinguished methodology starts from kindergarten.
Starting from P1, our students follow a subject-based methodology, globalizing all the subject areas to create, each term, a fun and real project.
The Primary Education Stage (from 6 to 12 years) is structured into three cycles: Initial, Middle and Higher, each of them lasting two years, in order to favor learning rhythms.
Our students follow a project-based methodology, globalizing all the subject areas to create, each term, a fun and real project. Each project is designed according to the age and interests of the students, keeping them motivated by adding real-time context about experiences in the curriculum.
From the age of 11, students begin the Primary stage. The MYP, or IB Middle Years Programme, is a rigorous academic framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world, and is designed to be an inclusive programme: students with diverse interests and aptitudes academics can benefit from participation in them.
From the age of 16, students can choose between studying the Spanish National Baccalaureate or the International Baccalaureate.
