Overview
Marymount Paris is an outstanding private school for children aged 2 to 14.
As the oldest international school in France we have a rich history of inclusion and diversity, offering a warm welcome to children from a wide range of countries, cultures and religions. Our ethos is founded on Catholic values, which underpin daily life at Marymount.
We are fortunate to have a spacious and verdant campus in Neuilly-sur-Seine and our extensive facilities include: a sports hall with three gymnasia, a library, a performing arts theatre, dedicated music rooms, a bright and spacious art room with pottery studio, a chapel, a dining hall, excellent IT and science resources, a FabLab, and leafy gardens for outdoor learning. Our program of enriching educational visits makes best use of the cultural treasures of Paris and the rest of France.
Our curriculum is based on a range of best international standards that ensure each child is prepared for the next stage in their education – wherever in the world that may be. Marymount schools have some of the highest academic standards in the world and those benchmarks form a crucial part of our own international curriculum and constant self-review. Our students are encouraged to develop a strong sense of personal service to the world around them with service learning projects built-in to the curriculum.
All students benefit from a dedicated French lesson every day and Francophones follow the French National Curriculum. We encourage children to speak in both languages as much as possible and children from bilingual backgrounds thrive.
Older students also benefit from learning exchanges with students from the other RSHM Network schools in London, Portugal and Rome, taking part in annual festivals of sport, theatre, advocacy and debate, and STEAM learning. Our Global Network provides an exceptional opportunity for our students to become leaders who are agents of transformation for justice and peace
in an increasing globalized world.
Our international parent body offers exceptional support to those who are new to Paris. The Parent-Teacher Organization also leads enrichment and social activities throughout the year, and the seasonal goûters and BBQs are not to be missed!
We warmly invite you to come and see for yourself what makes Marymount such a special place for children to learn and grow.
