Saint Mary’s School offers high school courses at two levels: honors and Advanced Placement (AP). Placement in courses is determined through the Course Request Process - by teachers and advisors in consultation with students and parents. Each student has different strengths and weaknesses in her learning styles and subject areas. Students are strongly encouraged to select classes that enhance their learning, complement their learning styles, and allow for an overall positive school experience. We offer a full interscholastic athletic program, consisting of 19 teams in the following 12 sports: cheerleading, cross country, field hockey, golf, tennis, volleyball, basketball, swimming, lacrosse, soccer, softball, and track & field. Saint Mary's School competes as a member of the Triangle Independent Schools Athletic Conference (TISAC) and the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAS, 4A Classification). Saint Mary's School now provides a full-time athletic trainer for all on-campus. Whatever your interests, you will find something to inspire you to express yourself and grow as a leader.
