Thames British School is a part of the Thames British School Group which has British International Schools within the UK, Spain, Poland and is a leading international School in Madrid. We provide high quality education following the Cambridge International School Programme, A Levels and IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma Programme and offer the full complement of education from the ages of 1 to 18 years old.
Our school is fully accredited to deliver the Cambridge Curriculum for our Primary and Secondary school and obtained its accreditation to offer Cambridge Upper Secondary IGCSE program which is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 16 year olds. Our school is also undergoing the process of authorisation to deliver the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Next to the A Levels program, which we have been offering for a few years now, this curriculum is meant for students aged 16 to 18 years old and paving the way to the best universities in the world! This allows us to teach from a rich, broad and internationally recognised curriculum as well as for our students to gain deeper subject knowledge, conceptual understanding and higher level thinking skills. Our teachers are qualified, experienced and native level speakers of English.
We strive to create a highly educated international community and this is done by employing ambitious as well as highly qualified teachers and ensuring a friendly, culturally tolerant atmosphere within modern, spacious classrooms. Therefore, our students are well-prepared to face 21st century challenges, with skills, understanding and, ultimately, universally recognised certificates that open doors to the most prestigious universities in the world.
