Overview

Set up in 2018, the school is designed to be a small, reasonably-priced international school that has one aim – to be a school where creativity flourishes. The Grange has a diverse-learning environment with 22 different nationalities represented just across 4 year levels currently. The Grange also offers additional English language for students who require support in mastery of the English language as well as providing two language options – Mandarin and Japanese language.
The Grange strives to create a child-centred, culturally diverse and sustainability-focused learning environment in a welcoming school setting. Over the years, the Grange has fostered a closely-knit school community that promotes a positive community experience not only for the students but for the teachers and parents. In this environment, all our students are known by all of our teachers – not just as learners, but as personalities and as creators.

While The Grange is known to be a small school, we have never allowed our size to determine the boundaries that we push to give our students the best possible learning experience. From our award-winning environmental initiative, to students winning global accolades at the inaugural Chinese Language Festival, The Grange is pushing the boundaries of the level of quality education a family-centric school can offer.

The Grange also aims to equip the students with key competencies that encourage holistic development of students, to prepare them for the real-world issues and act as responsible global citizens for a better future.

Academics

The Grange adopts an innovative and progressive approach to a child's holistic learning process. The Grange is the first school in Singapore to deliver both the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and Cambridge International Primary Curriculum, the school offers a balanced blend of both rigorous structured subject learning and inquiry-based thematic learning.

The Grange aims to nurture their students to achieve the sustainability-focused Cre8tors-in-Action© learning outcomes . Through ‘Cre8tors-in-Action© ’, students are challenged and exposed to situations which require them to think creatively, to experiment, to be innovative, and to find solutions. They learn to develop resilience and adaptability to thrive in the changing world, ready for the future.

The Grange is one of the very few school who has all specialist subjects included within the school fees and timetable. This is our philosophy of ensuring that our learners to experience a truly holistic education, allowing them to see the big picture of their learning, make connections across different subjects, and understand topics and issues in the world from multiple perspectives
