Parent and Student Reviews of Private Schools in Montreux
- This is my sixth year in St George’s, I cannot really pinpoint one single good memory but I have really enjoyed all the field trips that the teachers took so much time and effort into organising and certain lessons with good teachers and great friends. Other than speaking English, it has taught me to be more tolerant and understanding of others, it is great to have people who come from other parts of the world because it helps me to understand the world we live in.Read moreWritten February 25, 2023
- I have been to St. George’s for 5 years as a full boarder and I can’t choose my favourite memory from St. Georges as there were too many of them. But I think that being a boarder, meeting all my friends, having different field trips and becoming a Head of School were one of my most favourite memories.
Life in St. George’s has taught me to be responsible for all the actions and decisions I make as well as be a more open-minded person.Read moreWritten February 25, 2023 - My favourite part of teaching at St George’s School is the one school philosophy that runs from students of 18 months to 18 years of age. It allows the younger students to benefit from the facilities and expectations of the older students and the older students to maintain their enthusiasm for learning. I love teaching primary age students about number concepts such as introducing them to large numbers like a googol and always getting an amazed reaction when they find out the number is larger than the number of atoms in the universe.Read moreWritten February 25, 2023
- St George’s School has provided a supportive and welcoming environment for my children, helping them to achieve their academic potential at the same time as building their confidence and preparing them to succeed in the wider world.
The whole staff treat each student as an individual and encourage openness and acceptance of different experiences and points of view, a fantastic preparation for the international citizen of the future.Read moreWritten February 25, 2023
