In 2021 we found H Farm International School thanks to Worldschools. It was love at first sight. We left our beautiful Castellammare di Stabia to embrace the project of raising our two children Chloe and Ruben in an international environment, surrounded by greenery with a strong vocation for entrepreneurship and innovation. I feel that BIST has changed me so much as a person. I feel much more confident and self-reliant compared to when I first came to Thailand. I hope “la rentrée” all happened well and that the weather is still beautiful in Villars.

This is just a quick note to thank you so so much for all the great care and fun you gave Yilan this summer. She had a fabulous time and told us she would like to go back next summer and/or in a few years as a “monitrice.” Job well-done ! Thank you very much 🙂

BTW my apologies for a tardy reply but I did not write to you earlier because I figured you were enjoying a good break in August and then I did not want to bother you during the start of classes.

To give you a bit of other news, she started her new school last week and she seems very happy. She is in French 3 which is typically for eleventh graders but she is a ninth grader. She tells us they all have such a bad accent “it hurts her ears..” I found that funny. Apparently French spoken badly sounds worse than Chinese spoken badly… “Ouf “… 🙂

For me as a student, Yago School is not just a school, nor a building with classrooms where classes are taught, Yago School is a family. The teachers, the cleaning and maintenance staff, the people who work in administration and the secretary, and much more. Us as students, have been warmly welcomed into this very big family, where you can get nothing but good things out of. Yago School has taught me that not everything can be taught behind four walls: there are values ​​and teachings that cannot be learnt like this. They have helped me grow and develop both academically and personally, and I am the person I am thanks to all the members of this family, whom I will always carry in my heart.
